OLD, BALD AND HAIRY - (MFT001) (40 hours, 10 days)
Learn how to age an actor, work with bald caps, mix hair and apply hair pieces.

CASUALTY MAKEUP - (MFT002) (24 hours, 6 days)
Learn how to mix blood, make stitches, do a gash or cut, laceration or scrape, make an eye look gouged out, and create a variety of skin diseases. You will also get a chance to make a nose look broken and create 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns.

CHARACTER DESIGN & TATTOOS - 40 hours, 10 days
Change an actor’s ethnicity, create character hands, and create a variety of characters. Character creations will include a cadaver, a zombie, a frozen person, a vampire, a Saturday night live character, (ie) goat boy, and a middle aged sun worshipper (ie) Magda from “Something About Mary”. Also, learn how to apply tattoos through a variety of methods.

Create custom fitting teeth. Make your own mould, sculpt and apply your set of teeth to a model.

FACE CASTING & FACIAL PROSTHETICS - 4O hours, 10 days
Learn the 3 steps required to make a gelatine prosthetic piece: face casting, sculpting and creating a negative mould. Once your mould is made, you can begin to make your gelatine pieces. Pieces can include eye bags, swollen lids, character noses or chins, or anything else that you can dream up. This class is the ultimate in character creation!

THE COMPLETE GUIDE OF SET ETIQUETTE: HOW TO WORK IN THE FILM INDUSTRY (8 hours, 1 day)
Know your role and your duties as a makeup artist, hairdresser or wardrobe stylist on and off set. Be on top of your game and develop a full understanding of how the different cameras and lighting situations will affect your work. Be fully prepared on set with the Do’s and Don’ts of set etiquette. Develop a strong eye for continuity and learn to properly read and break down a script. Understand and know how to use the language spoken on set, and be aware of who’s who and their importance and what’s what on set. This workshop will teach you how to get your foot in the door of the film industry.
Price: $200 plus tax. No materials are required, only a pen and paper.
