“Let me start out by saying that I only have praise for Wink Makeup Academy. They genuinely care about their students’ well-being and their success in their chosen career (regardless of it being makeup).
When I was attending Wink, I felt like they put me before themselves, which is a very rare quality to find these days. The Wink ladies were not only teachers to me; to this day, I feel like they are family, always making sure that I stay true to myself and making sure that I am happy.
When I first started out on my career path of being a makeup artist, they always encouraged me to push through the hard times (I wanted to give up on a couple of occasions).
I can honestly say that I would recommend this school to anyone with a passion for the arts. Don’t be fooled though they tell you the truth about the industry and what to expect and how it is a long and hard road to success and prosperity.

“The time I spent at Wink Makeup Academy was a wonderful experience. I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable in every course that I took. The classes were small, allowing each individual more time with their instructor. Paulina, Georgia and Vicki were also knowledgeable about what they taught and knew the most up to date techniques of today’s makeup and special effects. Through their classes, I became confident in myself as a makeup artist. They helped me discover my own talents and how to improve myself in areas where I was not so strong. Not only were they there for me during my courses, helping me solve any makeup issues that I was having, but they continue to be there, even after I finished my programs. On many occasions, I have contacted the women of Wink for help and advice regarding projects I am involved in, and they willingly do whatever they can to help me. They have also continued to contact me in regards to available jobs, fashion shows and film jobs to see if I’m interested in them. Paulina, Georgia and Vicki are 3 of the nicest women I’ve had the pleasure to be taught by. “I had always wanted to learn about special effects makeup. So, when I learned that Georgia, Paulina and Vicki had started their own school and that Vicki who specializes in special effects, was going to be teaching some classes, I jumped at the chance to take them. I've taken two special effects classes now with Vicki, and they have more than met my expectations. All three are the ideal teachers; patient, affirming and encouraging.
